Solar city plans at Kadiri picks up wind

ANANTAPUR, Feb. 3: The Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (APIIDC) has decided to set up a solar city, at Kadiri in Anantapur district, with an outlay of Rs 3,000 crore in 5,000 acres.
The APIIDC managing director, Mr B.P. Acharya, had announced setting up of a solar city at Kadiri, in October last year.
