Welspun Energy wins award at the prestigious Asian Power Awards

Document contains the Press Release by Welspun Energy, winner of Asian Power Award. This award is recognition of Welspun’s commitment to innovation and continued focus on renewable energy projects. Their engineering and construction teams had been worked round the year to commission projects such as Anjar through several challenges and hardships.

The 15 MW Anjar project won the Award in the ‘Solar Power Project of the Year’ category at the recently held Asian Power Awards 2012 also dubbed as the ‘Oscars’ of the power industry. The award ceremony was held in Bangkok, Thailand on 4 th of October, 2012.
