Report of the Committee on financial sector statistics

The report of the Committee on Financial Sector Statistics which was constituted to review the existing system for collection and processing of Flow of Funds (FoF) statistics; explore the possibility of providing State level estimates; recommend suitable measures to improve timelines; revamp the system for processing and periodic audit with the aim to disseminate data consistent with international standard. The Committee has made its best efforts to address these issues. The Committee hopes that the recommendations and suggestions made in the report will improve the FoF compilation system in India.
