Question raised in Lok Sabha on Clean Development Mechanism, 11/08/2015. As on date, The National Clean Development Mechanism Authority (NCDMA) has accorded Host Country Approval (HCA) to 2940 projects. These projects are in the sectors of energy efficiency, fuel switching, industrial processes, municipal solid waste, renewable energy and forestry which spread across the country (covering all states/UTs in India), out of which 1,578 projects from India has been registered under The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). The State/UT-wise Host Country Approval by the NCDMA is annex-A.
