Level and pattern of consumer expenditure 2011-12

This report presents the estimates pertaining to various facets of household consumer expenditure at National and State levels. The report not only gives rural and urban averages of Monthly Per Capita Expenditure (MPCE) at State/UT and National level but also provides insights into the differences in MPCE within the rural and urban population of each State/UT and all-India, as revealed by the distribution of MPCE over households and persons.
