Illegal sale of coal in open market - Question raised in Rajya Sabha, 10/02/2014. Minister Of State In The Ministry Of Coal, Pratik Prakashbapu Patil has stated in Rajya Sabha that "in order to improve monitoring of production and utilization of coal from the captive coal blocks which have come under production, coal bearing State Governments have been requested to include such monitoring as a regular agenda item in the meeting of the State level Monitoring Committee constituted under the Chairmanship of Chief Secretary of the State."
