A global assessment of historical and future tsunami hazards based on seismic records over the last 400 years and estimated seismic gaps

This report shares the findings of a global tsunami hazard assessment for local regions, including low tsunami risk areas, based on a 400-year database. This assessment provides insight on past and potential future tsunamis, allowing stakeholders to better anticipate future tsunamis based on seismic gaps. The resulting tsunami hazard data can be displayed on a global map that will easily enable users to observe the local effects of tsunamis.
