Environmental accounting of land and water resources in Tamil Nadu

The objectives of this study are to incorporate the natural resources into the State accounts of Tamil Nadu. The specific objectives of the proposed study are to: develop physical accounts for land and water; develop monetary accounts wherever possible; estimate the cost of degradation of water and land resources to the economy and account for the interaction between the economy and the environment in the conventional accounts.
