Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2023

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC) on May 17, 2023, issued the Environment (Protection) Amendment Rules, 2023 to further amend the Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986. The Following has been amended namely: In Schedule-1 (a) the entries for serial number 70 which states “Boilers” has been substituted. They shall come into force on the expiry of the period of two years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
