Employment and unemployment situation among social groups in India (July 2011 - June 2012)

This report is based on the employment and unemployment survey conducted in the 68th round of NSS during July 2011 to June 2012. This report presents information on selected aspects of employment and unemployment and some other features pertaining to people belonging to four social groups viz., Scheduled Tribe (ST), Scheduled Caste (SC), Other Backward Class (OBC) and others. This report contains three chapters and five appendices. The main findings, relating to the estimates given in this report, are presented in Chapter Three.
