Electricity market reform: Tamil Nadu case study

This analysis indicated the importance of local and regional differences in flexibility supply and demand and the need to evaluate options and plans at a state level to fully understand the costs, potential, and issues that might arise. This case study is one of a series of regional and national studies in India that addresses key elements of electricity market reforms and technology development that are central to the ability of Tamil Nadu, and India as a whole, to meet this challenge.
