Dynamic ground water resources of India (as on March, 2004)

This report presents the dynamic ground water resources of India based on GEC'97 (Ground Water Exploitation Committee)with base year as 2004. It identifies the areas where ground water development is at low key and the areas, where ground water development is alarmingly high. The estimation for the individual state was jointly done by the Ground Water Wing of the State Govt. and the concerned Regional Office of Central Ground Water Board.
