Draft Solid Waste Management Rules, 2015

The Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change has published the Draft Solid Waste Management Rules, 2015 for public comments . These rules shall apply to every urban local body, all statutory towns, outgrowths in urban agglomerations as declared by the registrar general & census commissioner of India, notified areas/notified industrial townships, notified area committees, area under indian railways, defense cantonments, special economic zones in the country and every waste generator.
