The Government of Jharkhand on January 17, 2024, issued the Draft Jharkhand Power Policy, 2023. The main objective of this power policy is to ensure that the State power sector acts as a driver to the socio-economic development in the state and brings it at par with other developed States taking advantage of the latest available technologies.
