The Joint Electricity Regulatory Commission (for the State of Goa and Union Territories) has proposed amendments to the existing JERC (Procurement of Renewable Energy) Regulations, 2010 through the Draft JERC (Procurement of Renewable Energy) (Fifth Amendment) Regulations, 2024, dated 01st January, 2024. The proposed amendments aim to modify the regulations regarding the procurement of renewable energy and the obligations of entities in Goa and various Union Territories.
