Draft investment and industrial policy of West Bengal, 2013

The state government released its much-awaited draft Industrial and Investment Policy 2013, which sets out ambitious goals for infrastructure development, employment generation, and growth in manufacturing. The focus of the policy is to rapidly build and improve infrastructure, as an enabler for industrial growth, by additional 4000 kms of highway and bridges, ports, airports and water transport in Public Private Partnership (PPP).
