Comprehensive Environmental Management Plan (CEMP) for Taj Trapezium Zone (TTZ) area

Industrialisation and urban growth in the Agra-Mathura region has endangered the world famous Taj Mahal and other historical monuments which are under constant threat from the ever increasing environmental pollution. Ministry of Environment and Forests, Government of India declared Agra-Mathura region as air pollution protected area, namely the Taj Trapezium Zone in the year 1983 which is in the form of trapezium and prohibited establishment/expansion of polluting industries.
