Based on the recommendations of Working Group constituted in the 57th Conference of Chairman & Member Secretaries held in August 2010, CPCB prepared a list of industries categorizing them as red, orange & green for granting consent and inventorisation by SPCBs. Wind Turbine Manufacturer's Association vide their letter dated March 03, 2014 has taken up the matter with CPCB related to categorisation of wind, Solar PV power projects as red category industry.
