This recent Wikileaks cable from US Consulate in Mumbai has evidences to show that despite the risk and uncertainty of qualifying for carbon credits Indian businesses have pumped USD 25 billion into unilaterally developing Clean
Development Mechanism (CDM) projects to generate carbon credits.
