Bichom river basin study: main report

The Basin Study for Bichom Basin in Arunachal Pradesh has been initiated at the instance of Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India while according prior Environmental
Clearance to Dibbin hydroelectric project being developed by M/s KSK Dibbin Hydropwer Private Limited, New Delhi. Subsequently through a series of presentations, the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) approved the TOR for the Basin Study for Bichom Basin. The cost of the study has been shared on pro-rata basis by various project developers who propose to commission hydroelectric projects in the study area. The work for Basin study was awarded to WAPCOS Limited, a government of India undertaking under Ministry of Water Resources (MoWR).
