The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) promised to reduce electricity charges by 30 percent in a manifesto for the December 04 Delhi Assembly Elections. After incorporating a number of suggestions received from Delhiites online, the BJP in its manifesto promised full statehood to the city, reduction in vegetable prices within 30 days of coming to power, and 12 subsidised LPG cylinders in a year to each household.
