The purpose of this paper is to outline the principles of CESP (Community Energy Service Providers) and the issues involved, and to explain the CESP operational modality as applied in the REP (Renewable Energy Project).

Eutrophication

This report presents an overview of the impact of rural livelihood programmes supported by DFID in the context of the Millennium Development Goals, and explores some of the lessons learned under headings of income generation and rural growth, better management of natural resources, targeting the poorest and marginalised, and local institutions and self-governance.

The high rate of population growth and high level of urbanization in NCT, Delhi has resulted in over-development of ground water resources. Thus in about 75% area of NCT, Delhi ground water levels are declining at an alarming rate of 0.20 m per annum.

Primary data for the analysis was drawn from a survey of eight community forest user groups in the mid-hills of Nepal.

Challenge in this appeal is to the judgment of a Division Bench of the Bombay High Court at Goa in Writ Petition no.41/93 filed by the respondents. The writ petition no.41/93 was filed seeking quashing of the orders dated 3rd January, 1991 passed by the Directorate of Mines and Labour and dated 22nd March, 1999 passed by the Secretary, Mines, Government of Goa.
