Bangladesh PM's office goes solar to encourage green energy

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has installed a solar power system at her office to encourage green energy expansion in her power-starved nation.

The country's single largest solar power system, with a peaking capacity of generating 21.6 kilowatts, is now operating on a trial basis, officials of the Power Development Board (PDB) that supervised the installation said on Wednesday.

Rajasthan may attract Rs 45kcr in solar sector

Margao to be brightened with solar powered lamps

Solar lamps will soon become a reality in the Commercial Capital with a meeting of the Standing Committee of the Margao Municipal Council gave its nod for the Civic body to install solar powered lamps at the Municipal garden and around the Civic building.
