Moser Baer to raise Rs 400 cr debt for expanding solar power

Global technology company Moser Baer plans to raise Rs 300-400 crore of debt in the next two to three months to fund expansion, primarily to increase the crystalline silicon capacity of its photo voltaic (PV) business by 100 Mw from the current 140 Mw.

Suzlon Green to set up 50 Mw wind farms in AP

Suzlon Green Power Limited (SGP), part of the Suzlon group, will set up 50-Mw wind turbines in Andhra Pradesh with an investment of about Rs 300 crore.

Speaking to Business Standard, SGP projects head N Ramani said the wind farms would come up at Gandikota in Kadapa district and Vajrakudur in Ananatapur district.
