Pune businessmen design solar-powered bike

Two Pune-based businessmen, dealing in electrical goods, have designed a solar-powered bike that can run upto to a distance of 250 kilometres on a sunny day.

A 310 megawatt (MW) Kenyan wind power project has received approval to earn carbon emissions credits under the United Nations' Clean Development Mechanism, a senior company executive said on Tuesday.
