Why do you want the township?
It will bring in an investment of more than Rs 20,000 crore. Nobody in India can match this scale of investment in the present economic situation.

What do feel about the fears expressed by environmentalists?
The Japanese are extremely quality conscious. They will go for pollution-free and eco-friendly technologies. The main advantage is the township will improve the state's industrial scene beyond recognition.

There has been criticism the township will be an exclusive Japanese enclave.
So what if they have their own schools? Their culture is their own. Again, what is wrong if they have their own golf courses? I realise the importance of relaxation after hard work.
