Gujarat 1st to issue solar tariff order

The Gujarat Electricity Regulatory Commission (GERC) has become the first State Regulatory Commission in the country to issue a tariff order on solar energy. It has issued its first tariff order for procurement of power by distribution licensees from solar energy generators (solar photovoltaic and solar thermal projects).
