New Delhi: While the environment ministry fights a pitched battle with industry on green clearances, the one legal tool the aam admi had to fight bad projects has been pushed into limbo by the same ministry. The National Green Tribunal, where any citizen could file an appeal against an environmental clearance or project in violation of environmental laws, remains out of operation.
