86 MoUs, 32 on stream

BHUBANESWAR: The State Government has signed 86 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) with different firms during the last five years for setting up industries in steel, alumina, cement and energy sectors out of which 32 units have gone into production. Besides, 72,561 persons have got employment in these units directly or indirectly. Out of the 32 units, 29 are in the steel sector.
