Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB) was established in 1982. The objective of TNPCB is to control, prevent and abate pollution of streams, wells, land and atmosphere in the State to protect the enviornment from any degradation by effective monitoring and implementation of pollution control legislations.
