Notification regarding Fuel Efficiency Norms

The Road Transport Highways Ministry has issued a draft notification specifying the design and shape of the star-rating stickers that will be placed on the windows of vehicles. Sources said these will be put up by manufacturers to end any confusion and to prevent any scope of dealers claiming that they have no better fuel efficient vehicles available with them. The draft notification also specifies star-rating norms for vehicles that are powered with more than one fuel such as LPG or CNG.
