Bharuch Co Powered World’s First Manned Solar Plane Prashant Rupera TNN Vadodara: When the world’s first manned solar powered airplane took off from a Switzerland airfield recently, Gujarat had a role to play in its maiden flight. Some special polymers used in this airplane were manufactured at the Panoli plant of Solvay Specialities India Pvt Ltd in Bharuch.
