Focus on renewables

Any possibility of a climate deal in Copenhagen is all but dead. Till now the US had been fighting the battle with the developing nations using proxies -- small island nations, Australia and Denmark, pre-eminently. Now it has come out into the open with its demand that the emerging countries be brought on to the same page as the developed nations.
