President-elect Obama promises new chapter on climate change

President-elect Obama showed his enthusiasm for the Poznan Conference and promised to mark a new chapter in American leadership on climate change, while addressing the opening sessions of the Global Climate Summit in Los Angeles. He emphasized on development of clean energy future, creation of new green jobs and reaching strong annual targets so as to reduce GHG emissions to their 1990 levels by 2020 and reduce them an additional 80% by 2050 .
