Goa to have non-conventional energy park!

A Non-Conventional Energy Park would soon become a reality in Goa. The Central government has sanctioned funds to the tune of Rs 1 crore to set up the park in Margao as part of Phase I of the project.
And, if Chief Minister, Digambar Kamat is to be believed, the foundation stone for the project would soon be laid at the hands of Union Minister, Dr Farooq Abdullah.

Renewable energy use to be made mandatory for SEZs

14% of power generated by plants countrywide wasted: CEB
