Rs 12 Crore To Be Spent On Installation Of Solar Power Pack

New and Renewal Energy Department has made a programme for power pack in solar sector in Madhya Pradesh. A total amount of Rs 12 crore will be spent on the installation of small solar power pack in the fiscal year 2011-12. Under this programme, a plan to set up plants of over three thousand kilowatt has been made.

$150 million ADB guarantee to support solar power

Farmers set up solar fence at Chorao

A solar powered electrical fence was recently set up by a group of farmers in Chorao to prevent wild animals from entering their fields and damaging crops.
