Many evidences have been gathered to depict that climate change is taking place. A changing climate has strong implications for biodiversity changes and impact on the phenology and distribution of species alongwith community composition and ecosystem dynamics. These parameters may be used to find out indicator species to detect the climate change.

Recently, biodiesel has been receiving increasing attention due to its less polluting nature and also because it is a renewable energy resource. Mostly, biodiesel is prepared from edible oils like soybean, rapeseed and sunflower through out the world. Attempts have been made for producing biodiesel with non edible oils like karanja and jatropha especially in India.

Underground drinking water samples of IM2 hand pumps at twelve different sites at Moradabad were collected and analysed for physico-chemical water quality parameters following standard methodology of sampling and estimation to assess underground aquatic contamination at Moradabad.
