Integrating gender and social equality into sustainable development research: a guidance note

This guidance note supports the integration of gender and social equality (GSE) in qualitative as well as quantitative research, independent of environmental issues, geographical focus and societal levels. It is mainly relevant for achieving GSE-sensitive research – that is, research that integrates GSE where there is not an explicit gender focus.
