The Environmental Impact Assessment report has been prepared for the proposed 1600 MW power (2×800 MW) to be set up near a small village called Udangudi in Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu by UPCL. It would be developed with super critical technology to obtain benefits under clean development mechanism (CDM Project).
