Clean Air Sir Lanka
The Clean Air Sri Lanka (CleanAirSL) was established in 2004 as a non-stock, non-profit organization to work on combating air pollution. It operates as a partnership of a group of professionals and environmentalists from government organizations, private sector, nongovernment organizations, academe, and development agencies. It assists government agencies in implementing air quality management and climate change mitigation programs. In the government, CleanAirSL works closely with the Ministry of Environment and Ministry of Transport, among others.

Kanpur Parivartan Forum
This is an initiative of informed and concerned citizens of Kanpur who believe in working together towards making continuous holistic improvements in their city. They aim for a vibrant, transparent and participatory democracy. Supported by TiE UP, the "Urban Environment Development Society" (U.E.D.S) with the cooperation of Kanpur Nagar Nigam and help of eminent citizens & general public "PARIVARTAN" for a Clean, Green, Pollution Free Kanpur project has been started. It has also created a traffic cell to look into related problems.

Citizens for Better Public Transport in Hyderabad
It is a group of concerned citizens in Hyderabad fighting against the city’s planned elevated Metro rail project and have suggested alternatives such as bus rapid transit system that are a more cost effective strategy to save capital cost per km and passenger fares. They are also looking at pedestrian access and multi-modal integration.

Right to Walk Foundation has placed pedestrian infrastructure and safety and social equity on the policy agenda of the state. It has focused advocacy on pedestrian safety, improvement of sidewalks pedestrian crossings, removal of encroachments from public sidewalks and maintenance of sidewalks in Hyderabad and Secundrabad.

Clean Air Island
Clean Air Island was formed in 1995 by scientists and naturalists to improve the quality of life of mega cities. Clean Air Island has developed, as its core competency, the ability to mobilize individuals in government, business and the non-profit sector to act as catalysts for environmental initiatives. They aim at promoting vermiculture, pollution free vehicles, and greening projects to solve some of the waste management and air quality problems of a city of Mumbai.

Pedestrians First
Pedestrians FIRST was founded in 2008 and takes up issues related to pedestrian rights and safety. It is fighting to give first priority pedestrian in the road engineering and traffic planning. Safety, equity/social justice, and traffic congestion are its guiding principles. It works with a core group of volunteers. They work with people to take up issues in their own neighborhood, to create awareness and pressure.
