Patel to seek deterrent for Chinese power equipment imports

With domestic manufacturers ramping up power equipment production capacity to 30,000 mega watt by the end of the current financial year, Minister of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises Praful Patel will push for measures to stop or disincentivise imports.
