Fertiliser ministry opposes plans on hiking urea prices
Amendments to the urea investment policy of 2008 are likely to be delayed further, as the department of fertilisers (DoF) has formally opposed the move to raise urea prices. The price of this fertilizer has a direct bearing on the investment policy as does pricing and supply of another key variable, gas.
