After Carbide, Govt to dispose HIL toxic waste

Local villagers under banner of Lok Maitri launched protests against the state govt move.

Indore: The State Government, which faced stiff opposition from people and NGOs when it gave its nod for disposal of toxic waste of the Union Carbide, is contemplating to dispose 10 tons of toxic waste of Hindustan Insecticide Ltd. ( HIL) at the incinerator in Pithampur.
