Neonatal exposure to low doses of Diazinon: Long-term effects on neural cell development and acetylcholine systems

Research indicate that developmental exposures to apparently nontoxic doses of DZN compromise neural cell development and alter ACh synaptic function in adolescence and adulthood. The patterns seen here differ substantially from those seen in earlier work with chlorpyrifos, reinforcing the concept that the various organophosphates have fundamentally different effects on the developmental trajectories of specific neurotransmitter systems, unrelated to their shared action as cholinesterase inhibitors. Gendering the National Rehabilitation Policy of India

1

Teak forests in the changing climate scenario

0

Human activities over the past 250 years have caused the level of green house gases in the atmosphere to rise, thereby impeding the reflection of long wave radiation back to space. As a result, the Earth's atmosphere is warming up at an alarming pace, and leading slowly but surely to change in the climate. This is seen to be already affecting our forests in general and teak forest in particular.

Urban sprawl development around Aligarh city: A study aided by satellite remote sensing and GIS

1

Rapid urbanization causes disorganized and uplanned growth of towns and cities.
