PRB's World Population Data Sheet is an annual report on the world’s demographic, health, and environmental progress and challenges. This year's data sheet provides detailed information on 16 population, health, and environment indicators for more than 200 countries, and has a special focus on "Progress and Challenges."

The percentage of fully immunized children in the age group 12-23 months has increased noticeably in the state, points out the recently released annual health survey (AHS) 2012-13. The percentage of fully immunized kids has increased to 74.2% from 69% in state. On the flip side, there are several districts in the state where children received no vaccination. There are over 5.8% such children in the state. As per the new survey, Barmer district has the highest 18.2% children who did not receive any vaccination.
